We use a minimal set of cookies to run this website and, with your consent, privacy-friendly analytics to understand how visitors navigate the platform. We do not run advertising cookies and we do not sell data. This policy explains what we set, on what legal basis, and how to control it.

01

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let a site remember your actions and preferences over time. We also use comparable technologies such as local storage; where we say "cookies" in this policy, we mean all of these. Cookies are either strictly necessary, or they require your consent.

03

Strictly necessary

These cookies are required for the site to function. They remember your cookie choices and protect session integrity. They cannot be disabled.

Analytics & insights

With your consent we use Microsoft Clarity to capture aggregated, anonymized behavioral metrics — heatmaps, session recordings, click and scroll patterns. This helps the team understand which sections of the site communicate clearly and where to improve. Clarity does not capture passwords or sensitive form fields. Data is processed by Microsoft Corporation in accordance with the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

Legal basis

Strictly necessary cookies are set on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing a secure, working website, and fall under the "strictly necessary" exemption of the ePrivacy rules — no consent is required. Analytics cookies are set only with your prior, freely given consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw that consent at any time; withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before you withdrew.

06

International data transfers

Our analytics provider, Microsoft Corporation, is based in the United States. When you consent to analytics, some data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area. Such transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards — the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. Strictly necessary cookies do not involve transfers outside the EEA.

Managing your consent

You chose your preferences when you first visited, and you can change them at any time using the "Manage preferences" button above or the "Cookies" link in the site footer. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings, and most browsers let you refuse cookies automatically. Note that disabling strictly necessary cookies may affect how the site works.

08

Your rights

Under the GDPR, in relation to the personal data we process you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request that it be corrected or erased
  • Object to, or ask us to restrict, processing
  • Receive your data in a portable format
  • Withdraw your consent at any time

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. Our lead supervisory authority is the Data State Inspectorate of Latvia (Datu valsts inspekcija, www.dvi.gov.lv). You may also contact the supervisory authority in your own country of residence.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in technology, applicable law, or how we use cookies. Material changes are reflected by the "last updated" date above and, where appropriate, by asking for your consent again.
